After spending the night in the RV in the upper parking lot at Peggy's Cove, the kids went out the next morning to visit the lighthouse... Then they went down to explore the harbour. The tide was out.

Sunny days like that are generally terrible for doll photography especially in mid day, but I took these really early in the morning before 8, while the sun was still low in the sky. Then it works.

Oh my goodness, I was completely wrong about the chairs. I think I need more lessons in perspective or something (smile).

I remember seeing those colorful chairs various places while we were there on vacation. They were like an unspoken invitation to sit and enjoy the outstanding scenery.

Absolutely gorgeous!! I love everything about this scene. We went to Peggy's Cove back in 2001 I loved Nova Scotia and also our time in PEI to see all things "Anne" as well as New Brunswick. Everything was just breathtakingly beautiful!

Peggy's Cove is so picturesque! It's fun "seeing" it through the children's eyes.

Yes, Peggy's Cove is very picturesque. I remember seeing pictures of it on calendars over the years long before we actually visited for the first time. I had thought the entire Maritimes were like that, but was disappointed that they weren't, and that the barren rocky landscape was unique just to Peggy's Cove and the immediate surrounding area, and a few other remote spots.
