I don't think the height of the scilla blossoms and leaves detract from the photo at all, it seems to make them look like the tiny elves they are. Even their horse is elven in size! (Not that I've ever seen an actual elf, but I do always imagine them as tiny little creatures.) 😊

I'd have taken the photos sooner, when the flowers weren't that tall yet, but it rained every day the first week that they bloomed. Fortunately these two elves aren't as small as my other elves (like Willie) so they could still see over the flowers.

Always love when you take pictures in your scilla meadow! These little elves are so cute - love the little wagon with the trunks piled up, and their tiny horse! I've been back online this week, and so enjoying all the "meadow" pictures!

Thank you! I'm glad to hear it, as I was starting to wonder if people weren't getting fed up with all the photos of my dolls in the scillas.

The photos in this post were taken in my backyard, where I have a small patch. But my favourite spot is the old orchard on the town line not far from home. It's just been a challenging year to take photos due to all the rain. The flowers are best when they first start to bloom, but it was raining almost the entire first week. I managed some photos between rain storms, and even once when it was starting to snow a bit, but the leaves keep on growing the entire time, and eventually hide the flowers, so there's maybe a ten day window, and then it's all over again for another year.

Anyways, there will still be some more photos coming.
