One cool morning Byuri took Winston, Nuri, and Sparkle up the mountain to see Lake Edith Cavell...

It was quite the hike...

And it was quite the view....

It was one of Byuri's favourite places...

"It's so beautiful here."commented Winston.

"Yes, it is." agreed Byuri.

What a beautiful location! The scenery is spectacular and a great setting for your little explorers.

You were brave to balance them on the top of that fence!!

Lake Edith Cavell is in my opinion one of the most beautiful spots in Jasper. Unfortunately I'm no longer able to take the hike up to the iceberg-filled glacial lake at the base of the mountain. So the trail down to the lake has to do.

The dolls and dragons are standing on the end of the bridge railing where there's ground below, and not water. It was also not windy.

It is one of the most beautiful places. I’m always so impressed by her outfit. It’s so beautiful and detailed. Seeing her in that setting is lovely.

Thanks. Byuri came along in that outfit since she was one of the characters in the Quest story, but I thought I'd also let her have some fun with the dragons. A tour guide of the most scenic places in the west.

I love Mount Edith Cavell. It was named for a British nurse executed by the Germans during WWII.

This lake is fed by another one higher up at the base of the glaciers on the north face of the mountain. It's full of small ice bergs, and is like being in the Arctic. Unfortunately I'm no longer able to take the hike up to it.

I echo Winston. It is so beautiful. Thanks for taking us to places we might never be able to see and gifting us with wonderful tour guides.
