It started to snow. Narin and Adrian had gone ahead to set up camp. "We need to get to the camp up beyond that ridge." The snow became ever deeper as they made their way through the forest.... "I hope it doesn't get any worse." But as they left the relative shelter of the trees, the wind and snow really picked up..... Yet, on they went... "I hope the camp isn't too much farther."

Stunning photos. Did I miss something? They were traveling with horses. Where are the horses? I love animals and always notice them.

The servants have the horses, and they went on ahead. Or at least according to the story weaving old photos from 2012 (which had just these three characters) together with the newer ones taken in 2024 that included servants, horses, and tents, and all manner of props.

I can feel the cold. I can see the snow swirling around them. I can see the determination in their faces. They will make it.

It was interesting driving up the Icefields Parkway in a June blizzard, and it was snowing quite hard. Sometimes I'll add 'snow streaks' in Photoshop afterwards, but it's all completely real in these photos.

They've faced many challenges on their quest so far, but the weather may be their greatest yet. Your photos convey the cold and their concern with reaching the relative safety of the camp.
