We just got back from a four week trip to Newfoundland. I had brought my laptop along so I could continue posting and not advertise to the world that there was no one home here. Anyways, I was finally able to download the hundreds of photos I took, and start processing them. I took along three sets of dolls. First, Jude and Grace's family. After their failed attempt to visit Newfoundland two years ago, I thought they deserved a second chance... I also took along the dragon family and the Avery twins for another hot air balloon adventure.... And I took along my three Ruby Red Fashion Friends. All three groups enjoyed many adventures as we went in search of icebergs... ...whales... ...and enjoyed visiting coastal villages...like Trinity... ...and Twillingate... ...and taking in the spectacular rugged scenery... They don't call this place "the Rock" for nothing.

Welcome home! Despite less than ideal weather, your stay in Newfoundland looks wonderful. The scenery is spectacular - those icebergs are amazing - the towns are picturesque - all in all a wonderful place to spend time. Newfoundland heads the list of places I want to visit in my lifetime. Thank you for taking us there with your pictures and stories! I'm looking forward to what you'll be sharing over the days ahead 😊

Thanks! The scenery is definitely spectacular. There's so many great places to visit, but they are all very far apart. Which means one needs plenty of time.

The reason we go to Newfoundland in June is to see the last of the icebergs. They start arriving in April & May, but it's way too cold to go there then. Unfortunately there weren't many when we did go anywhere, but more started arriving after we left. The two in my photos started out HUGE, and had been slowly melting and breaking up over the weeks, but they were still very impressive. Comments are closed.
