Sisters

9/12/2024

Naomi and Agnes had become the best of friends. Not only were their husbands half brothers, but the two of them had formed a deep sisterly bond as well.

Naomi would come and visit often. "How are you feeling?"

Olivia came out on the terrace carrying little Mika....

"My Momma is having another baby!"

"Yes, I know."

"So, what do you think about that?"
Picture
"Well, when they are little they are a lot of work..."
Picture
"And you've certainly been a lot of help with baby Mika." interjected her Mom....

"But I like being a big sister," continued Olivia, "And I think it will be even more fun when they get a little older.."

It is nice that the sisters-in-law are there to support each other.

I am guessing that Naomi is just as thankful for the close relationship as she is living in a different era and a country setting as opposed to a city setting where she used to reside. I am guessing she is happy to have a friend help her navigate some of the aspects of her new environment.

Naomi has been living in 'the past' for more than two years now, and has adjusted with Baron and Miho's help. Naomi had grown up an only child, without any family other than her grandmother, and even though she had become friends with the other ladies in the court, she didn't have a really close, special friend until she met Agnes.

The two had become close, like the sisters neither had ever had.

I didn't remember that part of her story. I can see that she could fit into the past, which has now become her future. It is wonderful to have friends and sisters.

It’s great that they’ve become close friends.

It's lovely to have a friend who is as close as a sister.

Olivia is an adorable little girl who is very "grown up". I love her comments on how babies are a lot of work when they are little, but should be more fun when they are a little older. 😊
