Our sincerest condolences go out today to our friends to the south...

....as they mourn the death of everything they've been taught, and the values they hold dear; to always speak the truth, not to steal, to love and respect their fellow man, and not to covet anything that belongs to their neighbours....

Instead we are ushering a new world based on lies, misinformation and greed, where criminals reign supreme and ordinary folk lose their basic rights and freedoms. Where love for one's neighbours, and helping those in need is being replaced with every man for himself in search of the mighty dollar. One can only shake their head in disbelief. Who knew that it would actually come to this? Today is truly a dark day.

This is the first thing I saw on my computer this morning. I've been up all night agitated. There is nothing we can do but sit back and watch the train wreck. Thank you for caring and creating this. Now I shall retreat into dolls for four years - unless the worst happens. This above anything else is what I fear.

The stress in the air is palpable, and I felt the need to venture out to the graveyard to take some photos to mark this very sad day.

Hopefully it only lasts four years, and our dolls provide some distraction.

Thank you. This is a very fitting eulogy. I’m sorry that you and the rest of the world are going to be impacted by our insanity. I pray that it’s temporary insanity and people come to their senses sooner rather than later.

Unfortunately everything that happens in your country impacts us as well. And now we have a Trump-endorsed wannabe leader of our own waiting in the wings I hope people do come to their senses and don't follow your lead.

I am so sorry that you feel this way and that you felt the need to bring politics into the doll world. As an American I have hope for my country that once again we become the melting pot with love and compassion for all our citizens and we drive out the division and hatred that seems to have overtaken us. I stand tall and proud to be an American

Thank you. I am planning on running for the border and asking asylum if it gets too bad. I have Canadian family and roots there so I have hopes we would be allowed in.

A very dark day indeed. I also send all my condolences in turn for the death of what had until now made America great: openness, morality and a guided vision of a common future good for all; and not on megalomania and egocentrism, the money of the powerful and the power of the strongests, which are lamentable values worthy of the time of the worst monarchs in our history.
