Back on the patio I set up a scene on a board elevated on a pot on the picnic table.
I had wanted to take a photo of my tiny babies with the dandelion puff balls, but the plants in my garden were already way too big, so I had to create a setting from scratch. So I got out my mushrooms and the bags of moss, and went out into the neighbourhood looking for dandelions. There weren't very many, as most neighbours had mowed recently, but I found enough, and picked them carefully as they are very delicate. Back on the patio I set up a scene on a board elevated on a pot on the picnic table. Then I 'planted' dandelions by inserting toothpicks into the bottoms of their hollow stems and poking them into the moss behind the two little girls...

You are amazing! I love how you can create the kind of scene you need out of almost anything! With imagination there is almost nothing that is impossible 😊. That is part of every behind-the-scenes post you share with us. ❤️

Thanks! I think part of the satisfaction comes from figuring out how to create a believable scene. I couldn't deal with getting down on the ground with such little dolls - they'd have become lost - and it wouldn't have worked directly on the picnic table either, so....had to come up with something else. I have a couple of bags of moss from Dollarama for just such an occasion, and actually poked a few small dandelion plants out of the lawn to add to the scene.

You did an incredible job! I seriously assumed you just placed the mushrooms to create the patch, the dandelions looked so natural! Really fun to see the behind the scenes stuff, and how you weave your photo magic. Keep up the lovely work, Martha!

Another opportunity to "peek behind the curtain!" I so enjoy seeing how you make it all happen.
