Tiana hung on tight..... Mr. Ropuha had made all the honeymoon plans himself, and kept them secret... So Tiana couldn't help but wonder where they were going...

At their first rest stop, they noticed...... "Look what someone put on the back of our bike!" "I like it!! Just leave it there!!" And on they went.....
Just as they were about to zoom off...."Hold on...I still have to toss my bouquet!" "Catch it if you can!!" Everyone stared in surprise. It was Smuzhka Raccoon who caught it.... As Mr. and Mrs. Ropuha zoomed off... "Hum...I wonder who will be the lucky girl??" Yes indeed, who will be the lucky girl? But I do have an idea.
I've ordered a Ginger Raccoon from Whispering Grass, and she will arrive sometime next summer. So we'll see how the two of them hit it off. Well, it had been a great party, but it was time to leave for their honeymoon. Coco brought round their Vespa and secured their luggage.. "Remember to pay attention to the rules of the road......and drive safely." Ropuha revved up the engine, and everyone started to wave.... "Good bye!! And have a great trip!"
It was finally time to cut the wedding cake..... The cake was bigger than the little couple themselves... Everyone gathered round to watch....
These guys are just too funny! They just arrived, and without any taxes or handling charges. Yay!! They were so neatly packed, and even though I knew they would be just 15 cm tall, they struck me as quite small when I opened their boxes, barely taking up half the length. But what personality! They obviously knew each other, and were happy to see who was in the next box... "High five!!" The sculpting details are amazing, especially for such small figures. Their hands are incredibly detailed. Their faces are so expressive. But their bodies are a bit 'kicky' and will need to be wired. They immediately cut some leaves off my ivy in order to maintain a bit of modesty.....then being tiny 'warriors' they wasted no time looking for some weapons to defend themselves.... The older of the two, helped himself to one of my Goblin's spears.... "This will do nicely!" It's been a while since I fell in love with blank dolls straight out of the box, but these guys are just too much fun. Unfortunately I can't get to them right away. However they don't look like the 'patient' sort, and my ivy may end up stripped of all its leaves if I don't make them some kind of priority.
I received an email from JpopDolls earlier this week that my Tiny Talyssa has shipped. Tracking shows she is definitely on her way. It's been a VERY long wait, as she was ordered back in January. And the wait will likely be even longer due to it being a three day weekend coming up, with Thanksgiving on Monday. So, probably Tuesday at the earliest.
At least I have clothes ready for her. And a wig. I had been told that anything from Russia takes a very long time, and to expect my Feegles to take at least three weeks. So I've not been checking tracking much, figuring it was way too soon. But I thought I'd just look this morning to see where in Russia they were at now, and to my surprise, they were already in Montreal, having come in from Moscow via France. And the expected delivery says TOMORROW! Wow! That's just ten days, and way faster than I was told to expect. I'm so curious to see them, but costumes and face ups will likely still be a while. I'm trying to make some clothes and wig for Owen #2 - who I think might be called 'William'. I want something 'Scottish', as his Fantasy costume will likely be a 17th century highlander along the lines of 'Braveheart' or 'Macbeth'. I'd prefer 'James' but that's my son-in-law's name. My hope is that I'm up to a short fall trip starting next week, and I'd like to take a brand new 'family' set of dolls along - Isis, her guy, Nyssa, Eric, and Lisa. Which means they'd all need some warm fall clothes. I just finished a sweater set for Isis..... I've started a scarf with pale blue and white stripes, for when it gets really cold. I also made a sweater and scarf for her guy (when we were up in Kilarney in late August) and am now working on one for Eric. He's twins with Nyssa, and she has a red Fair Isle sweater, so i chose a red variegated yarn for Eric's sweater.... But, even more important than clothes (I could always borrow some off Owen), the new guy needs a wig.
Unfortuately it's very hard being creative with so much back pain. I've had it for months already, and it just seems to be getting worse. My doctor says it's my spine, but doesn't give any tips on whether or not it's permanent, or on how to live with it. So I don't know if I can handle a road trip, or much of anything right about now. But I need to be ready just in case, and even before that, I need to finish the photo series on Mr. Ropuha's wedding. We were away for three days, and that always throws a wrench in the 'flow' of things. I still have several scenes I wanted to shoot before I was finished with the series. So, what am I doing sitting here typing on the computer, when i should be addressing some of these things?? Better get to it before the pain killers wear off.... I recently made a set of 'Super' capes for one of my grandchildren's daycare providers. My daughter and I decided on non-conventional 'Super' symbols, so as to encourage creative imagination. These are the seven crests, satin-stiched and embellished with paint and glitter onto the seven capes... All the 'title's are just my unimaginative suggestions. It will be interesting to see what all the little kids come up with as the names for them all.
