Many happy returns! I stumbled upon your blog about 2 weeks ago, via Pinterest after seeing a picture of Jude and Grace in their celtic attire. Since then, I've spent hours browsing your site/blog archives. I'm sure you've heard this a million times, but the would you have created is truly enchanting! Your costumes and wigs are beautiful, I especially love your FID medieval fantasy crew and their families - be they in their medieval setting, or Outlander or modern vacations. The KID and BID kids bring plenty of smiles. As someone who was unaware of the BJD community, your site is still captivating and one I will keep revisiting. Thanks so much for sharing! I hope you don't mind the comments of a newcomer, I wanted to wish you well.

Dear Martha, Happy Birthday!

Well, I think we are all getting up there in age. I would not have wanted to be born at a different time in history, though. Down here we had the Black Power Movement, the Women's Movement, bell bottoms, Twiggy, Motown, the Beatles, and great TV shows.

It's just that time seems to be speeding up. I remember back in my thirties I thought when we reach the year 2000 I'd be really OLD (a whopping 45) and that's already twenty five years ago.

Sad to say it is very true.......but playing with dolls helps so much!

Yes, playing with dolls does help keep the mind young, and most of my 'exercise' these days comes from doll photography. I just wish it wasn't getting so hard.

Chère Martha j'ai une journée de retard pour te souhaiter un bon et heureux anniversaire.
Si je compte bien, tu n'es pas encore une vieille dame, on verra dans dix ans et encore ! C'est bien vrai que le corps ne suit pas vraiment la jeunesse de l'esprit mais c'est celle-ci qui compte le plus ; aimer et habiller des poupées aide à garder l'esprit jeune et surtout, quelque soit notre âge (et je suis plus âgée que toi), on s'amuse toujours.
