Another Baby

9/9/2024

I have two DreamhighStudio baby elves, but they arrived more than six months apart. The first one was always going to be Agnes and Matias' baby, and then when DHS offered the baby elf again with different face plates, I couldn't resist ordering another, thinking the second one might just become a baby for the regular House Elves.
So Mika, the first baby elf, was introduced as Agnes and Matias' baby....

....and was featured in lots of beautiful photos with her family at Christmas.

When the second baby elf arrived, it was clear that she wouldn't work with the smaller House Elves. First of all she was way too big, and then what would explain their baby looking exactly like Agnes and Matias' baby?
So, what to do?  I didn't want to sell her, since they looked so adorable together.

So I finally decided that Agnes would just have another baby, right after having had the first one. She'd have a really quick pregnancy, so the two babies could stay together, looking like twins, even though they were almost a year apart. The second baby would have a permanent home and I could get on with my stories.

So, I needed something high-waisted for Agnes to wear, and considered making something brand new. But I was too busy and overwhelmed with a lot of other things already on the go, so decided to see how she looked in Limhwa Lily's green Spring Goddess gown.  I added a 'baby bump' and she looked perfect.

The sisters are adorable. I can see why you wanted to keep them together.

Poor Matias is now completely outnumbered (smile). I have a feeling that it won't bother him in the least.

Who’s to say elves couldn’t have a fast pregnancy? They are a bit magical! The babies are adorable, and Agnes looks beautiful in that gown!

That's what I was thinking. Plus I didn't want to drag things out, so decided to skip right to near the end.

I thought Lily's gown looked amazing on Agnes. It goes so well with her delicate petit features.

Agnes is so beautiful! ❤️ Lily's gown looks wonderful on her. I think she would look beautiful even wearing a sugar sack (not that any doll of yours would ever be that unfortunate 😁).

The baby elves are adorable. The photo of them in the flowers makes me smile every time I see it. Matias is now surrounded by lovely females and I'm sure dotes on all of them!

She sure is! No wonder Matias fell for her.

Yes, I love those two little baby elves, and felt they really needed to stay together.
