Iplekids Everyday 3
The continuing series of smaller photo shoots featuring my smaller Iplehouse dolls and their friends.
Lace Dresses
Earlier this Spring I had made lace party dresses for several of my little girls who didn't have one yet. There were three little Iplehouse BIDs; Erin, Lizzy, and Aki...
...and the last two of my small Kaye Wigs girls to arrive; Lonnie and Fair Layla...
The two green dresses are the same light green lace, but with different coloured linings.
Tea Party
Erin, Aki, and Lizzy enjoying tea party with their dolls and teddy...
Garden Tea Party
After being frustrated photographing the first tea party, which I had to get down on the ground for, I decided to move the girls up onto the patio table so it would be easier to take photos, and there would be a nicer background...
Bordy
I've had this little fellow for a year now, and have never introduced him. He's Iplehouse BID Bordy, one of their very early sculpts. He arrived last summer along with KID Daisy.
It took a while to get his look. He'd been painted like a 'girl', and that needed some work as well. He looked best in a pair of TTYA overalls, and I had to make him a new top all his own. I had originally envisioned him as 'mixed race' with very dark hair, and I tried many different wigs on him, but he looked best in this handmade blonde mohair one I'd originally made for KID Jamie.
Cupcakes
Aaron and Peach were having a bake sale on National Cupcake Day on June 14th....
Beautiful Iris
When my dining room table hosted a coronation and a wedding recently, with all of my regular MSDs in attendance, my three contemporary Junior Iplehouse ladies needed something to wear, so had to borrow some Medieval Fantasy gowns from their slightly taller Fashion sized sisters. Iris won the costume lottery ending up wearing Naomi's wedding gown. I thought she looked so beautiful in it that she deserved a photo shoot of her own....
A Big Snake
The circus was in town, and the kids flocked to the side show, to see the snake charmer....
She had a huge python draped around her neck...
"This is Frank. He may look scary, but he's really rather harmless. Would any of you like to hold him?"
'Definitely not me!' thought Holly.
"Looks like we have a volunteer."
The other kids stared in amazement as she draped the snake across Bordy's shoulders
But Holly was horrified.
"So, what do you think?"
"He actually feels kind of nice."
"Anyone else want a turn?"
Clown Day
August 3rd was National Clown Day, so I took a photo of Little Lenny as a clown....
But I wasn't happy with a photo of just one sad little clown. So I made two more clown outfits, then posed the three of them like they were relaxing behind the big top during intermission.
