Iplekids Everyday - 3
A collection of smaller photo shoots featuring my smaller Iplehouse dolls....
Canada Day
This year Canada celebrates its 154th birthday, and I thought this year I'd let some of the kids who've never had the chance before to pose for the annual Canada Day portraits. Well, all except Elin, who has had the opportunity before, but I had one extra red outfit, so she won out...
It was Judith's first Canada Day....
Even though both boys have lived here for a few years, it was also the first time Efreet and Aaron joined in....
Same with David, Olivia and Cookie....
Happy Canada Day!
A Close Encounter
It was National UFO Day, and David, Nami and Ringo were headed to the park to play some baseball....
Suddenly Ringo thought he heard something....
They looked up just in time to see a flying saucer zooming towards them....
They ran to hide behind a tree...
"Look! It's opening up!"
"And something is coming out..."
A number of tiny, fierce looking, little aliens came out....
"What do we do??"
Then David got an idea...
"Hello 911....I want to report an alien invasion!"
Three Little Girls
I've been having so much fun revisiting the Special Days series, many of which feature my Iplehouse BIDs and KIDs. So when someone on DOA was selling off her entire collection of older BIDs (at a really good price) I finally gave into temptation, and even though it was really hard to choose....I bought three of them....Elin, Aki, and Erzulie....
All three are from the winter of 2011/2012 and are in the original Normal resin which has a somewhat translucent glow. I do have two of the sculpts in other resin colours already, but felt they would be different enough, and looked really cute in the Normal resin.
All three came with complete outfits, wigs, and shoes. They all had the 12mm eyes Iplehouse puts in most of their BIDs, and those had to be replaced immediately. Unfortunately the only 10mm eyes I had (that suited the girls) were the cheap acrylic ones. They'll just have to do for now. I didn't much care for the wigs they came with either, so spent some time trying on all the ones I had, until I found ones that I felt suited them.
Renaming dolls is not my strong suit, and I usually tend to go with something related to the sculpt name, so fair Elin will be named Erin....

Aki will keep her sculpt name. She's the youngest looking of the three, and was discontinued around the same time as Ringo.
Fair Erzulie will be named Lizzy. I think she's so cute in this resin colour....but she needs some new lashes...
Teddy Bear Picnic
I had wanted to do another Teddy Bear Picnic photo shoot featuring the three new little girls, but the weather has not been very cooperative for photography this summer. It's always either too hot, too humid, too rainy, or too sunny. Mostly too hot and humid. But I did finally manage, even though it was way too late for the official Teddy Bear Picnic Day back on July 10th.....
Lollipops
July 20th was Lollipop Day, and Cookie was handing them out to her friends....
She gave them to Eric and Elin to help hand them out....
Watermelon
It was National Watermelon Day, and some of my kids discovered a new spot down by the lake where they could go relax and enjoy some watermelon....
Not Too Happy
I needed to borrow Ringo's 'Prince' outfit for the boy who plays young Baron, so did a costume switch. I thought Ringo looked really cute, but he wasn't the least bit happy about it. So I took him out for some ice cream and balloons....
"Can I have my own clothes back now??"
