The ladies had a great time out and about, exploring downtown Santa Fe. The first place they went was The Plaza, which has been the central heart of the city for almost 400 years. The Palace of the Governors, which is the oldest continually used public building in the USA, hosts an Indian Market, where native craftspeople come to sell their wares.... We bought Bonnie a little native baby doll.... Leona loved all the colourful wares.... Peach bought herself a pretty Navajo pot....

Martha you are getting so brave at taking photos of the dolls in crowded public places! I so hope that one day someone recognises you out and about because of your dolls!

Thanks! I think once I start doing it, it gets easier. I would never have even dreamed of taking a photo like that of Leona, but at that point in our exploration, I had her out of the box and wrapped in my sweater. I took a photo of Leona with something else, and the woman manning that jewelry booth noticed, and asked to see my "baby". So I showed her. And while I was at it, I asked if it was okay to take a picture of the doll with the jewelry.
