I'm so thankful for my son and daughter-in-law who have been coming every day to spend time with me. Today Tanya suggested we could make some miniature polymer clay food for my dolls. So we spent the afternoon making fruits they would have had during medieval times, like strawberries, raspberries, pears, and blueberries, as well as a bunch of carrots. They will still need some paint touch ups, but are looking great so far.....

The food definitely looks real. I anticipate a feast some time soon (smile).

I agree with Dorothy. Everything looks very real... and very, very tiny. Can't wait to see it in your Medieval photos when it magically becomes life size!

My daughter-in-law wanted to make something, and she wanted to make berries, so why not? Most things still need a bit of paint shading to make them look even more real.

Beautifully detailed food. Is there a plan for it or will you keep it until it fits in somewhere? Love the attention to detail❤️

There was no plan. My daughter-in-law wanted to do something, I think to occupy my mind, and suggested we could make some miniature food. We discussed what fruit they might have had in Medieval times, and went for it.

Those are looking mighty tasty! I especially love the pears probably because I just love pears. Does that sculpting material have to be baked?

They are polymer clay, so had to be baked.
