and post something from the Archives - like this shot of Maya and Narae watching
the lobster fishermen on Beal Island, Maine......
So I made a nice lobster dinner for Elin - two freshly-boiled lobsters on a bed of broccoli.
I'm sure you've noticed that "Special Days" have started to make a reappearance. It's because we've come to the time in June when I was preparing for our holiday trip to Newfoundland last year, so I was too busy to worry about the Special Days photos. Then add the three weeks we were actually away, and then some more time getting back into normal life after coming home, and a whole six weeks, or more, ended up missing. So I'm going to try my best to fill the gap. "Try", being the key word.
I've started communications about the next commission, but I have a feeling that costume is going to be a very long, drawn-out affair, so in the meantime I'm working on several sundress sets for my KIDs. I made two way back in early spring, but I really need another one (or more). I've cut out 5 KID sundresses already, and now need to choose the colours for the leggings and T-shirts. I've also pulled out a couple of fabric combinations for BID dresses in the style of Elin's above.
